Following up on the picture from the other day, here’s an infographic of the proportion of habitable area used by 4 countries. 1.7%, Australia? And apparently, we’re full?! I call bullshit.
Thanks to my friend, Ralphie, for finding this.

If you have a foam or polystyrene container (say, from taking home leftover food from a restaurant), Total Art Soul gives us this upcycling idea: Turn it into a stamp for printing.
Materials needed: An empty container, a pencil, ink or paint, and a small roller.
For the super-simple how-to / tutorial, see the Total Art Soul post here.
[Thanks, Mayme Fravel, for sharing the link on the Unconsumption Facebook page!]

The ICT sector is in danger of becoming irrelevant as the sustainable revolution takes place around us. This won’t be avoided by creating the next best smartphone, tablet, or coolest new interface. It’ll be tackled by taking on the role of working with people to shift to a sustainable society. And there’s a huge opportunity in it – $667 billion according to JP Morgan’s analysis.
